Visit Sebring Announces 2022 Winner’s Circle Tourism Award Winners
SEBRING, Fla. (Dec. 19, 2022) – On Oct. 27, Visit Sebring awarded this year’s Winner’s Circle Tourism Awards to recipients in eight categories. The awards recognize individuals, teams, businesses, and organizations that exceed expectations and serve as tourism ambassadors by going above and beyond their typical, everyday duties.
Through their performance and actions in 2021, they created situations that resulted in happy, grateful, surprised, and delighted visitors. These tourism ambassadors are typically the first interaction with our community that tourists have, so it is only fitting for us to recognize them for their important contributions to our local tourism industry.
Online nominations were submitted to recognize performance taking place in 2021. Judging took place earlier this year by an independent panel of judges from outside the Highlands County area.
This year’s winners are as follows:
Hotel Service Champion: Erika Treadwell – Alice Consulting Services
Attractions Service Champion: Gilbert & Katie Randall – The Barn at Paso Fino
Restaurant Service Champion: Kelley Rewis – Avon Park BBQ
Sports Champions: Andy Kesling – Citrus Golf Trail
Rising Star Champion: Ray Aguirre, LaQuinta by Wyndham
Innovation Champion: Alexa Murray – Secret Gardens Winery
Volunteer Champion: Jim Reed – Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC)
Humanitarian Champions: Cruiser & Christy Crews, Crews Companies
