HGTV’s “Home Town Takeover” Season 3, Featuring Sebring, Wins Daytime Emmy Award

National recognition celebrates Sebring’s transformation and the extraordinary community spirit that made it possible

SEBRING, Fla. (November 4, 2026) — The City of Sebring is proud to celebrate a landmark achievement: Season 3 of HGTV’s hit series Home Town Takeover, which showcased the transformation of Downtown Sebring, won the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Instructional/How-To Program at the 53rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards on October 30, 2026, at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles.

Led by Ben and Erin Napier alongside a team of HGTV experts, the six-episode series brought Sebring’s people, history and unmistakable character to a national audience. The ambitious effort revitalized homes, local businesses and public spaces throughout the city, including the historic downtown and Circle Park, while creating new opportunities for residents and visitors to gather, connect and invest in Sebring’s future.

This Emmy win is a monumental achievement for Sebring. It places the city on one of television’s most respected national stages and affirms that the story told in Season 3 extends far beyond physical renovations. It is a story of neighbors showing up for one another, local leaders and organizations working toward a shared vision, business owners taking bold steps, volunteers giving their time and residents welcoming change while preserving the qualities that make Sebring special.

Above all, the honor is a testament to Sebring’s amazing community. The award recognizes a television production, but the heart of that production was the people of Sebring—their resilience, generosity, creativity and pride. Their collaboration turned an extraordinary opportunity into lasting momentum and showed viewers across the country what can happen when a community believes in itself and works together.

“This Emmy belongs to everyone who helped tell Sebring’s story and bring this transformation to life,” said Kristie Vazquez, Executive Director of the Downtown Sebring Community Redevelopment Agency. “We are immensely proud of this recognition and even prouder of the community it celebrates. Sebring welcomed this opportunity with open arms, hard work and an unwavering belief in what our city could become. The world saw that spirit on screen, and this award ensures it will be remembered.”

The City of Sebring extends its congratulations and gratitude to HGTV, RTR Media, Ben and Erin Napier, the entire cast and production team, participating property and business owners, community partners, volunteers and every resident who contributed to the season’s success.

As Sebring celebrates this historic honor, the community remains focused on carrying the momentum forward—supporting local businesses, welcoming visitors, preserving its heritage and continuing the collaborative work of building a vibrant future for the City on the Circle.
