Don’t miss your chance to check out the “Quickest outboard powered drag boats in the U.S.” as they race across Lake June-in-Winter as part of the Southern Outlaw Dragboat Association’s (SODA) Fall Nationals event in Lake Placid, FL on Sept. 7-8, 2024!
Watch outboard drag racing boats run down the 800ft course in speeds in excess of 100mph!
Racing starts at 11:00AM Saturday & 12:00PM Sunday.
Boats will be launching from Lake June Park Boat Ramp and course will be laid out off shore from the park’s beachfront.
For spectators: The course can be seen from H.L. Bishop Park on the Northside of Lake June’s Eastern Cove (10 Lake June Clubhouse Rd., Lake Placid, Fl 33852), but for more fun activities and some close up looks at these impressive vessels, you’ll want to be at Lake June Park on the Southside of Lake June’s Eastern Cove (901 N Tangerine Dr, Lake Placid, FL 33852).
