SEBRING, Fla. (Jan. 22, 2026) – Do you know someone who goes above and beyond to make visitors feel welcome in Highlands County? Visit Sebring, managed by the Highlands County Tourist Development Council (TDC), is now accepting nominations for the 7th Annual Winner’s Circle Tourism Awards and the community’s help is essential.
The Winner’s Circle Tourism Awards recognize the people behind the experiences. These are the hospitality professionals, volunteers, innovators, and champions who make Highlands County a place visitors want to return to again and again. From a server who remembers guests by name to a volunteer who shows up every time, these awards celebrate the individuals who elevate tourism through exceptional service, creativity, and heart.
“We know there are so many deserving individuals working quietly behind the scenes,” said Casey Hartt, Tourism Director for Visit Sebring/Highlands County Tourist Development Council (TDC). “These awards are our opportunity to shine a light on their significant impact, and we rely on our community to help us find them.”
Nominations are open to the public and encouraged from employers, coworkers, visitors, and community members. Each nomination should include meaningful details to help judges understand why the nominee stands out and how they contribute to a positive visitor experience.

- Restaurant Service Champion
- Rising Star Champion
- Volunteer Champion
- Innovation Champion
- Sports Tourism Champion
- Humanitarian Champion
Winners will be announced during the Tourism Insights & Awards Program in May 2026 (exact date to be announced), an event that will also feature updates on what’s new and emerging in Highlands County tourism.
