Get ready to time travel with the Sebring Historical Society at Pioneer Daze on Saturday, October 19!
Swing by the Alan Jay Arena at the Highlands County Fairgrounds, 781 Magnolia Ave., Sebring, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.—and guess what? Admission and parking are totally free!
This event promises a blast from the past for the whole family, packed with fun and learning galore! Enjoy tasty bites from food trucks, browse cool vendors, and check out local non-profits showcasing their history and community services. You won’t want to miss the chance to try your hand or catch a demonstration on some of the daily activities from day’s past, like clothes washing, pitcher pumping, orange juicing, hat tossing, quilting and basket weaving, cornhole and calf roping.
The festivities kick off at 9:30 a.m. with an opening ceremony, followed by toe-tapping country tunes, folk melodies, clogging, and some heavenly southern gospel music! Don’t miss out on this historical hoedown!
