Florida Talks: Florida’s Female Pioneers

Come to Avon Park for good food, culture and history on April 24th!

The Depot Museum and Historical Society of Avon Park in association with Highlands County NAACP presents Florida Talks: Florida’s Female Pioneers.  Historian, Dr. Peggy MacDonald, will discuss some of the fascinating women who have shaped Florida.

Admission is free and so is the buffet lunch at the Hotel Jacaranda from 11 am – 2:00 pm before the talk.  Tell the server you are going to the Historical Society Talk at 3:00 pm and your buffet is free – just tip the server.
