Get ready to unleash the fun at Pawsitive Effects’ annual Barktoberfest on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at the paw-some Stuart Park in Lake Placid, FL! This tail-wagging, fur-filled fiesta is totally FREE, featuring adorable dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes looking for their forever homes.
Bring the whole family— pets, too! There’ll be activities galore including pet photo ops and pet costume contests, fantastic vendors with unique goodies for you and your furry pals, plus mouthwatering food and groovy tunes to get your tail wagging. And hey, don’t forget to bring a donation of USA made dog and/or cat food to snag a ticket for a chance to win a fabulous raffle prize!
With free parking all around and public restrooms on standby, all you need to do is show up! The festivities kick off at 10:00 AM and wrap up at 3:00 PM.
Remember, every donation goes straight to the awesome non-profit rescues from Highlands and Hardee County, Florida. Let’s make a difference together—see you there!
Your four legged dog friends are welcome, so long as they are socialized, well behaved and leashed. Please DO NOT use retractable leashes at this event. Please be prepared to pick up after your dog.
