This award recognizes the recipient’s dedication to sports tourism in Highlands County by consistently growing sports tourism participation, increasing the promotion and marketability of Highlands County to visitors, and producing a sports tourism event or series of sports tourism events that shows a profound impact on the Highlands County economy through out-of-town visitation.
