The Lodge
Located on 2,000 acres of Florida bays, pines, palmettos, and oaks, outside the small town of Lake Placid, the Lightsey Family Ranch is the perfect setting for a romantic and rustic wedding. This venue features beautiful, natural landscape for an outdoor ceremony, as well as versatile indoor and outdoor space for a reception. Our lodge features room for up to 28 guests, a large lobby with a true old Florida feel, and a fully equipped professional kitchen.
Hunting
Lightsey Family Ranch boasts some of the best hunting land in south Florida. Owner and lifelong hunter, Lee Lightsey, welcomes you to one-of-a-kind hunting experiences, including wild hog, quail, turkey, deer, and gator hunts. After a successful day of hunting, enjoy a stay at the Lodge. Rest in one of the 10 guest rooms, relax with a quiet moment on the wraparound porch or by an open fire, and feast on a fare prepared by our in house chef.
