LaLa Land is a private 50-acre farm located just south of Sebring. The property features oak hammock, bay head, Florida grassland pastures, and two fish ponds. Your private guided visit will include viewing and/or individual interaction with exotic animals such as zebras, wallabies, a camel, spotted llamas and a Flemish Giant bunny. There are also potbelly pigs, chickens, dwarf, and miniature horses, standard horses, a mule, donkeys, and cows on the property. You may even experience a visit from our very own and famous yellow corn snake named “Lucky”. Wildlife is plentiful and often active on the farm. Red shoulder hawks, southern and pileated woodpeckers, squirrels, Osceola turkeys, great blue herons, roseate spoonbills, and whitetail deer are regular visitors. Fishing gear is available so you can try your luck at landing a big bass, bream, bluegill, or tilapia while our resident alligator watches.
Visits to LaLa Land are by appointment only, will be personally guided by the owner Terri Lynn Crutchfield, and will be designed to accommodate your specific interests. Many of the animals at LaLa Land are also a part of TLC Therapy Hooves and, along with a team of volunteers, visit senior care centers and nursing homes in Highlands and Hardee counties free of charge on a monthly basis. Terri “TLC” created this 501(c)(3) organization 6 years ago as she saw the unique way her animals could enhance the lives of seniors in our community. 100% of the proceeds from your visit is a tax-deductible donation to TLC Therapy Hooves and will help TLC continue her mission to bring joy to others through her animals. If you are interested in this unique opportunity to personally experience the “Real Florida” as well as interact with some wonderful exotic animals, please contact Terri at (863) 699-0777
