Veterans Memorial

The memorial, which honors all veterans, is an asset to both Highlands County and the town of Lake Placid. Countless drivers pull off the highway to take pictures and walk around. The Memorial features a 7 1/2 foot tall fountain, 2 majestic eagles, plants, flowers, and a sidewalk with seating. The site has become a landmark and is attracting a number of visitors to come and admire the beautiful park while honoring all our Veterans.
