Overview

MOTA: Highlands Museum of the Arts is located in the Cultural Center on Lake Jackson just a short walk down from Circle Park at 1971 Lakeview Drive. MOTA is operated by the Highlands Art League in the historic Clovelly House which was built in the 1920’s. The museum houses the Art League offices; an exhibition gallery often hosting regional fine artists; a member’s gallery, offering the work of Art League members; an art library and a gift shop selling unique hand-made arts and crafts. MOTA is free to the public and has seasonal hours, so it is best to check the website for days and times –– highlandsartleague.org.
