The Florida Medal of Honor Memorial, gardens, and visitor center stand as a moving tribute to the 24 courageous Floridians who have received the Medal of Honor—the nation’s highest military recognition for acts of valor performed “above and beyond the call of duty.” This thoughtfully designed memorial not only preserves the legacy of these heroes but also shares their extraordinary stories with visitors from near and far.
Guests can explore a range of meaningful exhibits, including artifacts from the Tommy McGuire airplane crash site, McGuire’s personal medals, and displays highlighting the bravery of Florida’s Medal of Honor recipients. The grounds also feature serene native Florida gardens, offering a reflective space to honor and remember those who served. The entire site is fully ADA-compliant, ensuring accessibility for all.
Located at 442 South Eucalyptus Street, Sebring, Florida 33870, the memorial is but a 10-minute walk from Sebring’s historic Circle Park.
