Caladium Arts & Crafts Cooperative
A brief history of the Arts and Crafts Co-Op.
We are located in a spacious storefront at 132 East Interlake Boulevard in Lake Placid and can be reached by phone at 863-699-5940.
The Arts Co-Op was created in 1992 by three Lake Placid Artists: Carol Mills, Harriet Porter, and our dearly departed Suellen Robinson, as a place for local artists and crafters to display market their creations to the public.
OUR PURPOSE AND VISION:
- To offer an established forum for the display and sale of the Members’ arts and/or crafts.
- To promote arts and crafts through classes and education.
- To serve the public through related activities.
The Caladium Co-Op is a membership-driven 501c-3 non-profit organization. Our members and volunteers are the heart of our organization! Without them we would not exist.
Memberships are available. Call or come by for an application if you would like to show & sell your artwork.
We have something for everyone! Bring your friends and spend a delightful time exploring our large showroom and gallery. We have a wide selection of all kinds of arts and crafts.
On-going and limited time classes are held year ‘round in several different mediums. Many you can finish a project in one session. Go to our Facebook page to view the current line up of class offerings.
