Lake Placid Christmas Parade

Overview

Celebrate the holiday season in Lake Placid at the annual Christmas Parade, presented by the Town of Lake Placid and the Greater Lake Placid Chamber of Commerce!

Enjoy an evening filled with festive floats, cheerleaders, marching bands, fire trucks and, of course, a special appearance by Santa Claus. The 2026 parade theme, “250 Years of Christmas Traditions in America,” celebrates America’s 250th anniversary with plenty of holiday spirit.

The parade begins at 7:00 PM at the corner of Dal Hall Boulevard and Main Avenue, near Journal Plaza.
