Overview

Step back in time at the annual Heritage Festival, celebrating the rich history and Old Florida traditions of Highlands County. Tour the historic Pearce House and the two-room schoolhouse, both open to the public with engaging displays and presentations.

Enjoy a weekend filled with craft and food vendors, live local entertainment, heritage demonstrations, and plenty of family fun in the Kids’ Zone. Explore spinning and quilt displays, meet the Florida Cracker Trail Riders, and admire the classic car show.

A special highlight is the ecological boat tour on the Kissimmee River offering a unique look at the region’s natural beauty and ecosystems. Outdoor activities also include live music, local artisans, and delicious festival fare.

Wrap up the weekend with Cowboy Church on Sunday morning.

Cost: Entry Fee is $10 per car and $20 for boat ride
