Overview

Details

Power and Lights Productions presents The Story of Noah,  a powerful, two-act theatrical production that explores the courage of one faithful man chosen by God in a time of overwhelming wickedness. As Noah obeys God’s call to build the ark, he endures hardship, ridicule, persecution, and real danger from those who mock and oppose him.

Under relentless pressure to abandon his calling, Noah remains steadfast—believing that what seems impossible is, in fact, possible with God. Through perseverance, obedience, and unwavering trust, Noah and his family are saved, powerfully demonstrating the cost—and the reward—of faithfulness in the face of suffering.

In a moving final scene, Jesus enters the story, reminding us that salvation ultimately comes not through water, but through His blood.

Scripture records no spoken words from Noah—only the words of God. From this silence, we have imagined the challenges, conflicts, and emotional weight Noah may have endured. The result is a provocative, dramatic, and deeply inspiring storyline that invites audiences to wrestle with obedience, faith, and trust in God.

And one more thing—there are no animals in this production.
We believe the power of the story, the performances, and the message will so fully captivate you… you won’t even miss them.

Important Notice for Parents and Audiences

This is not the familiar children’s version of Noah’s Ark filled with animals.

The play is based directly on the sobering words of Genesis:
“Every imagination of the thoughts of mankind’s heart was only evil continually.”

As one of the Bible’s darkest narratives, The Story of Noah portrays the spiritual corruption of the world before the flood. Some scenes may be intense or disturbing. Parents are encouraged to use discretion, as children of all ages could be frightened by portions of the performance.
