Santa Express – Steam Engine Holiday Train Rides

Overview

DEPARTING SEBRING

These joyful annual holiday trains have offered families a 2-hour trip through the countryside aboard a decorated, historic passenger train. Each ride features a visit with Santa Claus, cookies, and a commemorative gift. First-class tickets include locally-made sweets, treats, hot chocolate, and desserts. Multiple departures will be offered each day.

TICKETS

Our passenger train consists of historic cars dating from the early 1900s to the mid-1950s and includes first-class observation and lounge cars, table cars, deluxe coaches, and open-air cars. Our train is climate-controlled except in our open-air class and features restrooms onboard.

Tickets pricing varies from $60 – $300.

Tickets for most of the 2025-2026 season excursions go on sale September 3, 2025 at 6:00PM.

PARKING & BOARDING

Detailed parking and boarding instructions are emailed to you with your ticket confirmation.

NOTES

Due to its historic nature, Sugar Express is not ADA-accessible. The excursion cars feature steep steps, narrow hallways and doorways, and small restrooms, which may pose challenges for guests with limited mobility. Passengers with limited mobility need to be aware of these limitations and should expect such situations, and should contact Sugar Express for planning and accommodations
