Planetarium Experience at the Children’s Museum

Overview

Get ready to be transported into outer space at our Planetarium Experience. Learn about the stars and hear stories about the constellations.

The Planetarium Experience is an one-day-only, unique learning workshop where kids will be transported into our outer space dome to learn about the stars.

Experience runs approx. 20 minutes and is taught by local science teacher, Mrs. Arlette.

Planetarium Experience is included with $8 admission to the Children’s Museum of the Highlands on Friday, July 25th only, but seats for the experience are limited must be reserved through Evenbrite: https://ExploretheStarsCMoH.eventbrite.com.

Planetarium Experience showings will begin at 10AM, 11AM, 1PM and 2PM.

While the experience is for all ages, please note the following requirements for participation:

• Participants be able to crawl through dome entrance of approx. 6 feet.
• Dome is dark until eyes adjust to dim lighting.
• Children must be able to sit for the 20 minutes of the show and cannot leave in middle of presentation.
• Children under 7 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who will sit with child.
