Kick off the holiday season with one of Highlands County’s most heartwarming traditions — the Avon Park Jingle Bell Run! For many years, this festive evening race has brought together runners, walkers, and families to celebrate Christmas under the glow of twinkling lights in historic downtown Avon Park.

Enjoy a spirited run or stroll through miles of dazzling holiday displays along Avon Park’s beautiful mile-long mall. The event features both a Children’s Fun Run and a 5K race, making it perfect for participants of all ages.

This year’s Jingle Bell Run benefits the Who I Am Foundation, supporting free programs for foster care children, individuals with special needs, and seniors in memory care. Participants can also spread extra cheer by bringing a new pair of pajamas to donate for local foster care families.
