Overview

It’s Movie Night at the Military Sea Services Museum! Their next movie night is Friday, March 14 at 4 p.m. featuring “Devotion”.

There have been very few movies made about the Korean War, however, this 2022 Paramount film highlights the story of Ensign Jesse L. Brown, flying from USS Leyte, a fleet aircraft carrier conducting combat missions during December 1950. The personal story of the first Black naval aviator, and his struggles for acceptance by other Navy pilots, reflects the context of a segregated America. His heroism shines through as well as that of his fellow aviator Tom Hudner.

Admission is free. Snacks and sodas will be available for a donation.

The museum is Handicap accessible and is located at 1402 Roseland Avenue at the intersection with Kenilworth Boulevard.

Be there! Aloha!
