Overview
Experience small-town Christmas magic all month long at Lake Placid’s 4th Annual Holiday Market & Celebration series!
Every Tuesday evening in December, Downtown Lake Placid and The Journal Plaza (231 N Main Ave) transform into a festive village with twinkling lights, live music, and rows of local makers and food vendors.
Start the season on Dec 1st experiencing Lake Placid’s own “Hallmark” moment with the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, Christmas carolers, bell ringers, and choir, vendors, Santa & Mrs Claus Photos, plus more Holiday Activities in collaboration with the Greater Lake Placid Chamber of Commerce street-closure bringing local businesses, DJ, food trucks and family activities.
Each event runs 5–8 PM, is free to attend, and offers holiday shopping, photo booth opportunities, dinner and dessert options, and plenty of hometown cheer for visitors of all ages.
