Experience small-town Christmas magic all month long at Lake Placid’s 3rd Annual Holiday Market & Celebration series!

Every Tuesday evening in December, Downtown Lake Placid and The Journal Plaza (231 N Main Ave) transform into a festive village with twinkling lights, live music, and rows of local makers and food vendors.

Start the season on Dec 2nd experiencing Lake Placid’s own “Hallmark” moment with the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, Christmas carolers, bell ringers, and choir, vendors, Santa & Mrs Claus Photos, plus more Holiday Activities in collaboration with the Greater Lake Placid Chamber of Commerce street-closure bringing local businesses, DJ, food trucks and family activities.

Then enjoy three themed markets at The Journal Plaza – Dec 9th – Comfort & Joy with Joy Jar Giveaways, Santa & Mrs Claus photos, vendor and downtown shopping, dinner & dessert food and Local Live Music, Dec 16th – Lake Placid-ville & Grinch Night with Who-Hair mini salon and Heart-O-Meter wall with raffles, Santa & Mrs Claus photos, dinner & dessert food, vendor & downtown shopping and on Dec 23rd – Grab Last-Minute Holiday Gifts & Festivus for the Rest of Us Night with photo backdrop booths, food truck at the Plaza, food options for dinner & dessert, last minute shopping, and Live Music and quirky holiday fun.

Each event runs 5–8 PM, is free to attend, and offers holiday shopping, photo booth opportunities, dinner and dessert options, and plenty of hometown cheer for visitors of all ages.
