Discover the incredible diversity of plants that make Highlands Hammock State Park one of Florida’s most treasured natural areas. Join a guided hike to learn about the park’s native flora, as well as introduced plant species that remain from the property’s early days as a botanical garden. Along the way, you’ll gain insight into the important role native plants play in protecting Florida’s unique ecosystems and the challenges invasive species present.
