Firecracker 5K

Overview

“The 32nd Annual FIRECRACKER 5K has been set for Saturday, July 4 with an 8:00 a.m. start.

A run/walk celebration of our Nation’s 250th birthday, the race features a custom designed tee shirt, awards, and refreshments. Entry fee is $30 with shirt and $20 without shirt thru June 27. After the June 27 date thru race day sign up fee is $35. All proceeds benefit Track and Cross Country teams at Avon Park High School.

Participants may sign up on-line at: Runsignup.com. Click on Find a Race and type AnnualFirecracker5K.
Those wishing to mail entry should make a check payable to Central Florida Striders and include name, age, gender and tee size(s) to: Central Florida Striders, 3310 Par Road, Sebring, FL 33872

Those wishing an application may email to: brojekch@aol.com or text to 863-712-3524 and the coach will get it out to you. Come join the celebration by wearing your best Red, White and Blue race gear. We expect over 300 again this year so sign up and arrive to the park early on race morning.”
