Lake Jackson Clean Up Day

It’s time to roll up your sleeves and celebrate a decade of community pride at the 10th Annual Lake Jackson Clean-Up Day! Join us Saturday, September 13 from 8 AM to Noon, starting at Veterans Beach Pavilion, and help keep Sebring’s signature lake sparkling.

In partnership with the City of Sebring, Sebring Fire & Rescue, and the Highlands County Sheriff’s Office, volunteers will be assigned stretches of shoreline to tidy up. The City provides all the essentials—garbage bags, safety vests, gloves, and grabber poles—so just bring your energy (and maybe some sunscreen!).

Kick things off with morning refreshments, then stick around for a classic community lunch—Mayor John Shoop is firing up the grill for hotdogs! From walkers and boaters to families and friends, everyone can play a part. Let’s make this milestone year another shining success for Lake Jackson!
