A Walk through the Wildlife Corridor
Join Archbold’s Conservation program on Saturday, February 8th for a guided hike through the Florida Wildlife Corridor.
The Florida Wildlife Corridor is a statewide network of connected wild and working lands that support wildlife and people. Archbold’s nearly 20,000 acres of land play a critical role in allowing wide-ranging animals like Panthers, Bears, and Swallow-tailed Kites to roam and fly safely.
The Corridor was birthed in name at Archbold in 2010, and since 2021 when the State Legislature prioritized the Corridor’s conservation, we have led the scientific arm of the nation’s most ambitious state-based land conservation effort. Partners all across the state, including ranchers & landowners, scientists, storytellers, and countless community members persistently work to protect the Corridor.
If you’ve always wanted to experience and see the corridor for yourself, spend Saturday morning walking the wildlife corridor at Archbold for yourself!
No RSVP required, but appreciated.
