Reed’s Motel

Look for the Famous Art Deco Neon Sign!

Reed’s Motel is conveniently located near Highway 27 in Avon, Florida. You always know you are in Avon when you pass by the famous art deco neon sign with a woman diving into a pool. Hurricane Charlie blew it down in 2004 but fortunately it was able to be restored to it’s original state. This historical Motel from the 1950’s features an outdoor pool and spacious rooms that have been brought back to life with newer furnishings and amenities including a 42” flat screen TV, internet, microwave, mini-fridge along with other standard amenities.

The Reed’s Motel offers daily and weekly rates, starting at only $59.99 per night. Sebring Florida is located just 10 miles from Avon, known for the Sebring International Raceway, attracting race fans from all over. Avon and Sebring are historical towns with many homes built in the early 1900’s with a deep (and some) and ghostly history. Some of these include the Edward Hainz House, H. Orvel Sebring House and Paul L. Vinson House. Avon Park Historic District is within a 20-minute walk.

Whether you are passing through or planning to stay for a visit, we invite you to stay with us for as long as your travel requires. We look forward to your company. Just look for the neon sign….
