Pawsitive Effects’s annual Barktoberfest is scheduled for Saturday October 7, 2023 at Stuart Park in Lake Placid, FL. This free event will have dogs and cats of all breeds and all ages up for adoption. The rescue organizations set their own adoption fees and application process. The park will host pet adoptions along with activities for the kids, your pets and the whole family. Shop wonderful vendors offering unique items for you and your pets. Take advantage of the many activities during the day and enjoy great food and music. Try your chance for a beautiful raffle prize.
Free parking surrounds the park and public restroom are available. The event starts at 10:00am and ends at 3:00pm.
All donations benefit the participating non profit rescues from Highlands and Hardee County Florida.
Your four legged dog friends are welcome, so long as they are socialized, well behaved and leashed. Please DO NOT use retractable leashes at this event. Please be prepared to pick up after your dog.
